Leading you to the nation’s most fascinating chasms, hoodoos, and other rock formations, this canyonlands vacation is as multilayered as the ancient tiers of stone that formed them. Starting under the neon lights of Las Vegas, you’ll make your way to the flame-colored walls of six national parks throughout Arizona and Utah, including Grand Canyon, Arches, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon, and Zion National Parks. Rock on with a 4-wheel drive ride through the Navajo Nation’s majestic Monument Valley. Backcountry barbecues, rustic and resort lodges, all within a stone’s throw of the nation’s most spellbinding views only deepen your canyonlands experience.

The Antelope Slot Canyon with a local Navajo guide on day 5 day requires walking roughly 1/4 mile over a dirt path and 4-5 medium flights of metal stairs with handrails up and down to access the canyon.

This vacation visits national parks and other remote locations where some facilities may not be up to the first-class standard you expect from Globus. Some lodges within the parks do not have televisions and other amenities you would expect from most Globus hotels.

 Tour Director

With GLOBUS, there’s no better way to get to know your destination than through the eyes of a Tour Director. We’d like you to meet one of our Tour Directors, who average over a decade of experience and are representative of the type of expert that will be with you on your vacation.

STEVE OSTEN

Escorting tours for more than 20 years

My interest in the national parks began as a child on summer vacations in Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. In college, I studied Botany, Ichthyology, Mammology, and Ornithology, and I began working in Yellowstone as a summer seasonal guide years ago. I have also worked in Sequoia, the Everglades, and Alaska as a naturalist guide. Whether it's beachcombing in Florida, birding in the Everglades, or hiking in the Tetons, as long as I'm in nature, I'm where I want to be.
